KATA KALIC In the early morning hours of May 30, 2002, Kata Kalic passed away peacefully at the age of 52. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love by her husband of 31 years, Joseph; two sons, Michael and Jack; daughter Marija; one sister in Winnipeg; brother and sister in Germany, brother in Croatia, friends and many other relatives in Canada, Germany, Croatia and Australia, including nieces and nephews. She leaves her special cat Chico. Kata was born in Tatar Varos, Croatia and came to Canada in the late 1960s. Today we begin our lives missing her deeply but carrying forth her spirit as a communion of friends and family. No words can describe the sacrifices she made out of love for her family. We will remember her strength in kindness and love as we journey through life with her in our hearts. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicolas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Katas memory may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, R3C 3J2. We love you ...until we meet again...
